SCOPE Banquet
2:54pm Sep 13
On behalf of SCOPE, I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in the extravaganza of the year which is taking place on Friday, October 7, 2011. Our 46th Annual SCOPE Banquet is being held at Lucarelli’s Banquet Center, 1830 Abbott Road, Lackawanna, NY 14218. There will be a cash bar at 5:30 pm and dinner will be at 7:00pm. Tickets are $50.00 per person, $90.00 per couple and $400.00 per table of ten.
This year we are honoring Senator Michael F. Nozzolio. Senator Nozzolio was born and raised in Seneca Falls, NY. He currently serves as Chairman of the Senate Crimes Victims, Crime and Correction Committee.
Our guest speaker is Gun Owners of America Executive Director Larry Pratt – which is dedicated to protecting the Second Amendment of the FREEDOM TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS .
New York State has been victimized by anti-gun politicians who have constantly and consistently introduced bills to further limit your gun rights. If we don't continue to fight, we can expect to see much more of the same in coming legislative sessions.
2011 is a critical election year. Some people believe their vote does not make a difference, particularly if major party choices for an elective office are both anti-gun. No matter what the party, Conservative, Liberal, Republican or Democrat, they all know how to count votes. We need to make a strong statement at the polls. The formula for success is simple, we must be REGISTERED to vote and we must VOTE!!! Take a stand – fight for our right to protect ourselves and those that we love.
WE need to voice our opposition as an individual, a taxpayer, a supporter of Second Amendment rights, as a SCOPE member, as an NRA member as an AMERICAN! WE can't rely on “others” to do our part.
We are asking for your support in the way of donations, either monetary or merchandise, to supply our door prizes and/or Chinese or Silent Auctions. I am also urging your organization / business to purchase ad space in the 2011 SCOPE Awards Banquet Program Book. Please mail your ad copy to me at the address below or email it electronically to joe@joeoutdoorguy.com.
For $ 100.00 your business or organization can purchase a full page ad and receive a FREE banquet ticket. This is a wonderful opportunity to have your organization or business exposed to our vast membership. For ad sizes and prices, please contact me at
mjpicone3@gmail.com or (716) 931-9780 .
SCOPE needs your help to fight for pro-gun legislation that will protect our rights and to hold back the continuing avalanche of anti-gun owner legislation. Your generous donation of One Hundred dollars, Fifty dollars, Twenty five dollars or whatever you can afford will help SCOPE continue to defeat the agenda of the anti-gun politicians.

We look forward to seeing you at our banquet.
Sincerely,
Mary Jo Picone
